The Anticipation, the Nerves, the Pure Joy

Long before a couple says I do, there's a version of their wedding day that almost nobody else sees: the getting-ready hours. The hands that won't stop shaking while buttoning a shirt. The best friend fixing a veil for the fourth time. The quiet pacing in a hotel room while everyone else is still doing hair and makeup down the hall.

This video is from that part of a real wedding day, the anticipation and the nerves right before everything starts, and the pure joy that breaks through once it's finally time. It's one of the more emotionally layered parts of a wedding to film, because it's not one feeling, it's five or six of them stacked on top of each other in the span of an hour: excitement, nerves, love, a little bit of disbelief that the day is actually here.
